Hi Parents,
Our desire for middle school students at Impact is that they would be impacted by the Gospel and then in turn impacting their world around them for the Gospel.  And with Easter just around the corner, we'd love to provide students with an opportunity to reach out to one of their peers who doesn't attend church and invite them to join them at Impact.
So, on April 13th and 14th, were hosting for the first time at Impact a Double Dog Dare-A-Thon!  Here's how it will work:
  • Impact students will invite a friend or two over to their house on Saturday, April 13th to spend the night.
  • At 8:00 pm, students will visit the westoverimpact.com website and click on the Double Dog Dare-a-Thon link to begin the first dare.  Then they will take a photo of them completing the dare and upload it to the website.  Once the photo for the dare is uploaded, they can move to the next dare, until they have completed all 8 dares.  The first dare will be released at 8 pm, with new dares being released every 15 minutes thereafter.
  • Students will bring their friend(s) to Impact on Sunday, April 14th and celebrate as we look at the best dares from the night before, give away some prizes, and wrap up our Easter Series, "Best For Last", looking at Jesus' last words to his followers here on Earth.
Make sure you have the following items in your house so the students can complete their dares:
  • Oreos
What dares will your students be completing?  (To ensure fairness, please keep these a secret from your student until they are released on April 13th.)
  • Most Expired Food
  • Strangest Beauty Mask
  • Take the Best Camouflage Selfie
  • Take the Best Picture of a Parent Imitating an Emoji
  • Create the Best Squad Album Cover
  • Stack the Most Oreos On Your Face
  • Build the Most Epic Pillow Fort
  • Best 80's Outfit
*This event is completely FREE. No Registration is required prior to the event!*

This Week at IMPACT:
This Sunday, we're continuing with week 4 of our 5 week series leading up to Easter,  as we look at some of Jesus's final and most important words He shared with his followers while on Earth.

WEEK 1: We remember what Jesus has done to know He is still working.
WEEK 2: Jesus prayed for unity so His people could live in harmony.
WEEK 3: You can be real about what you feel and still trust Jesus.
WEEK 4: Jesus died and rose because He loves you.
WEEK 5: Your failures don't take away Jesus's love.
We are excited to now have a devotion plan on the Bible App!
This is a great opportunity for students to dive into God's Word with a group of friends, their small group, or on their own. The current plan will go along with our current teaching series and consists of 25 days of devotions! We will still continue to hand-out paper copies of devotions on Sunday mornings as well!
Mars Hill is a week-long mission trip for 8th grade students in the mountains of North Carolina. We will spend the week serving alongside local ministries in Asheville spending time with elderly, painting, landscaping, and doing light construction  work. We will also spend the week talking about the importance of living a life obedient to Christ.

Cost: $375
Registration opens:  January 6th
Registration closes:  May 5th

A week-long camp in Clemmons, NC for 6th and 7th grade students. Students are given the opportunity to dig into God's word through personal quiet time, Bible classes, evening chapel, and cabin devotions. In addition, students are able to participate in different skills classes ranging from crafts, archery, high
ropes, rock climbing, and more.

Registration opens:

Our desire is to come alongside students as they are IMPACTED by the Gospel and are IMPACTING their world around them for the Gospel.
