Double Red Flag Beach Conditions in North Myrtle Beach

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Double Red Flag conditions are in place for the beach areas of the City of North Myrtle Beach.

A Double Red Flag means the water is closed to the public.

The National Weather Service has issued a storm surge warning for the area due to the danger of life-threatening flooding. The NMB Ocean Rescue Team says dangerous currents are already affecting the area and beach erosion is likely.
