Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re excited to celebrate you in a couple of meaningful ways this year.
In February, you’ll receive a special token of appreciation as a small thank you for the care, time, and heart you share with our community.
Looking ahead, we are planning a Volunteer Appreciation gathering to be held at our new Westside location once it is open. We anticipate that might happen close to the end of the year, but will keep you posted.
Your compassion and commitment mean so much to us — thank you for being such an essential part of Dougy Center!

We’re thrilled to share an update on here.now. The Campaign for Dougy Center West. Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we’ve reached over 80 percent of our working goal, with just $2.4 million left to raise!
Behind the scenes, we're meeting with donors, submitting proposals, and working to secure bridge financing — all to set the stage for a successful public launch later this year. Construction is expected to begin in early 2026!
We’re so grateful for your advocacy and support. For now, please continue to hold off on public sharing as we schedule conversations with key stakeholders. If you have questions or would like to get more involved in the campaign, contact Lani Faith, Chief Advancement Officer.
| | Wellness Guidelines & Attendance Reminders | |
We know how quickly life can fill up with work, school, and those unexpected moments that throw a wrench in our schedules. As we start the new year, we want to highlight how much consistent attendance helps our groups. That sense of routine and predictability is a huge part of what makes peer support so effective.
Of course, if you’re feeling under the weather, please stay home and rest. Otherwise, we ask that you make a concerted effort to join us regularly. Your voice and presence truly matter to the group. If you can’t make it, please just reach out to your Coordinator to let them know.
