Family Place Workshops    
Spend time together, play, make friends and talk one-on-one with specialists on child development during this enjoyable five-week workshop series beginning on Monday, March 4 from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm and ending on April 1. This program is designed for caregivers and children one to four years old. Topics include early literacy; child development; speech, hearing and language; nutrition; and music, play and health. Register once for the entire five week series at or call 516-6052.
Poetry Contest 
It's time for the 17th annual Dover Public Library poetry contest. Students may pick up information about the contest at the Dover Public Library, any Dover school library, or at our website starting on March 13 .
Pancake Pajama Party  

On Saturday, March 16 from 9:00-11:00 am , bring the family for some delicious pancakes. Wear your pajamas, meet up with friends, and enjoy all the library has to offer.
 Teen Book Group!  
The next meeting of Pizza & Pages will be held on Wednesday, March 13 @ 6pm.  The group will be discussing The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan and copies of the book are currently available for borrowing at the adult circulation desk.  We encourage kids in grades 7 and up to attend.  The group will be very informal with pizza and refreshments being served.   Join us to hang out with friends and maybe meet new ones.  Hope to see you there.  Questions email or call 516-6050 and ask for Denise. 
Stem Saturday
Want to launch things into the air?  Who doesn't!  Join us for the Catapult Challenge on Saturday, March 23 from 2:00-3:30 pm . Kids in grades K and up are invited to build simple catapults. No registration required.  

Police Storytime 
Each week during the month of March we will post a question about the Dover Police trading cards. Every correct answer will be entered into a raffle. A winner will be chosen on Wednesday, March 27 at 10:00 am by Officer Alex Mitrushi during a special Family Storytime.

Adult and Toddler Yoga

On Friday, March 8 and 22 from 11:00-11:30 am , adults with toddlers are invited to try out a fun introductory yoga class. Learn some basic poses to share with your child. Bring a mat if you can. No experience necessary.

LEGO Saturdays

Join us on March 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 for Lego   Saturdays. Use our LEGOs to build and create. Meet new friends and share your ideas. Work on interesting challenges and have fun!
Saturday Matinees 

Matinees are held in the Library Lecture Hall on Saturdays at 2:00 pm.

Creation Station 

Kids of all ages are invited to drop-in and make and take a Leprechaun Envelope Puppet  between March 10-16 and a  Spring Bird between March 24-30 .

Paws for Reading
Murphy, a certified therapy dog, and her handler, Karen, will be in the children's room on S aturday, March 16 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Murphy is a great listener and very patient with beginning readers.
