Drop-in Open Art Lab

On Tuesday, August 11 at 10:30am and Monday, August 17 at 6:30pm in the Mullen Program Room, kids of all ages are invited to bring their imagination and creativity to the Drop-In Open Art Lab. We will have a variety of supplies available for you to use to create artwork of your own design. If you miss the children's room craft table, come join us!

Four Winds Nature Institute

On Wednesday, August 12 at 10am on the Library Lawn, Four Winds Nature institute will be back at The Dover Public Library! We will be reading the story If You Plant A Seed, and children will have the opportunity to explore various vegetables to stamp in paint to create fun patterns and designs. We will also have our mud kitchen, loose parts, and a gardening sensory bin to explore! No registration is required.

Multilingual Book Group: Book to Art w/ Dover Adult Learning

On Thursday, August 13, 20, & 27 at 10:30am in the Community Room, the Multilingual Book Group is back, hosting a fun series called Book to Art! This event is a multilingual book club for children and families, where they can explore language and literature together. No registration required. This event is for families with children in grades K-3, though other ages are OK too! This program is in collaboration with Dover Adult Learning, The Community Literacy Center, and The University of New Hampshire. 

Crafternoons

On Monday, August 24 at 3pm in the Mullen Program Room, kids in grades K - 5, who weren't able to make an air-dry pinch pot in July, are invited to join us to make an air-dry clay pinch pot. Children in kindergarten and first grade may need help from a caregiver to complete this project.
