Ongoing Events in November
Visit our online calendar for more information and to register for these events.
Read with a Librarian
Sign up to have a librarian read with your child. Depending on your child's age and reading ability your child might want to only be read to OR they may read to us!  This a great opportunity to gain reading confidence and encourage a love for reading.
Once you register we will be in touch with you by Sunday evening to schedule a time that works best for your schedule between 9am-12pm. You may also select books on Hoopla for practicing readers so that a librarian may follow along (that is optional).
This program is best for Toddlers/Preschooler through age 9.
Mondays virtually on Ring Central from 9 AM-12 PM.
Family Storytime
For kids of all ages with an adult. Program will be in the Lecture Hall and limited to five families per session. Families will enjoy stories, songs, and rhymes. A craft will be available to take home.

You may contact Miss JoJo with any questions at
We are working hard to keep our online programming safe for our young patrons. You will be required to submit your library card info upon registering as this program is for patrons of DPL only. Once you are registered you will be pending approval for safety precautions. Once approved, you will be provided with a secure link to our virtual session via Ring Central.

We want to hear your story! Starting in November, we are partnering with StoryCorps, whose mission is to preserve and share humanity's stories. Family stories, local history, or currents events are all great topics for conversations. You can record your story by visiting and creating an account. Pick up instructions or ask a librarian if you need help getting started.
