Community Read
This summer the library will be sponsoring a community-wide read of Charlotte's Web by E.B. White. Free copies, generously purchased by the Friends of the Dover Public Library, will be available at several locations around the city. We will also have multiple copies to check out from the library.

Summer Reading Program
Sign-up for the summer reading program begins on Monday, June 28 at 11:00am. For more information and a listing of all the events, go to our website at library.dover.nh.gov
High Flying Dogs
Join us on Wednesday, June 30 at 2:00pm at Henry Law Park. This high-energy, interactive show is great for the whole family.
Friends of the Library Outside Book Sale
The Friends of the Dover Public Library are having an outdoor book sale on Friday, June 18th from 9am to 4:30pm, and Saturday from 9 to 12—rain date weekend June 25th & 26th. We will have hundreds of books and DVDs for sale on the front lawn of the Library. Fiction, non-fiction, biographies, DVDS, CDs, kids’ books, cookbooks and more.  Prices range from $1 to $3, and all proceeds go to the Friends of the Dover Public Library to support programs and museum passes. Don’t miss it!

Grab and Go Activities
Our popular Take Home Craft and Stem kits will be available beginning on June 28 and throughout the six week summer reading program. We offer new activities each Monday, and they can be picked up in the Children's Room while supplies last.
Read With a Librarian
Drop in to the Children's Room on Thursdays between 3:00-4:00pm to practice reading skills with or be read to by a librarian.
Family Storytime
For kids of all ages with an adult. Mondays at 10:00am on the library
lawn.

Crafternoon on the Lawn
Fridays from 3:00-4:00pm families can join us for a outside craft session while supplies last.
Mother Goose on the Loose
Fridays 10:00-10:30am on the lawn. For infants to two year olds with an adult.

Museum Passes
Many museums are open but most are at limited capacity and require reservations. Go to our website to reserve your pass and get more information.
