Please contact the library if you would like to volunteer to either help set up or cashier during the book sale. We will direct you to the volunteer coordinator for the Friends. Patrons now have the ability to receive text notifications of holds, overdues and other notices by logging into their accounts under the "Your Messaging" tab. Instructions are available on the website under "How Do I" tab. If you have questions, please see a librarian for assistance.
New Short Term Parking
Fall brings cooler days and nights, and the return to school year routines. This means increased parking demands on the library lot, too! In order to help alleviate parking lot congestion during the busy weekday morning periods, the city is installing 11 new 30-minute parking spaces in front of the library. These will help patrons who need to make a quick trip into the library find a parking spot more easily, especially during busy morning hours.
Memory Lab
Don't forget about the library's memory lab. Bring in cassette tapes, VHS, slides, photos or negatives to digitize and preserve for the future. See our website for more information on using the equipment.
