Happy New Year!!
I hope that everyone enjoys a healthy and happy 2021. All of us have faced many challenges over the past year, but have persevered and learned from adversity. Many of you have been able to show and through your diligence have shown that horse shows can indeed be a safe place to be. Thank you. With this in mind we are beginning to plan for DMF 2021!
We have streamlined the schedule, but are keeping all three Hunter Derbies. New for this year will be a Hunter Futurity class, for horses 4-7 years of age. This will be based on their first round score in whichever Derby they compete. The ever popular Team Challenge will be back along with the Pro/Am class, and of course the Horsemanship Challenge, as well as most of the other classes that our riders enjoy.
DMF has committed to provide you with a new schooling area which will be located on the race track. The infield will still be available for lunging and hacking as well. This new schooling area will require a substantial financial commitment so we are asking all of you to consider supporting it with a sponsorship of some type. Every donation, small and large, will help us to make this a reality, not just for this year, but all the years to come.
