Some exciting news has happened this fall. The Downsizing Diva Franchise Company acquired Red Coats Moving Solutions. Downsizing Diva founders Karen Shinn and Gail Shields are excited to be consolidating the two premier Canadian Senior Move Management Companies.

After 20 years Red Coats owner Vickey Riley Keyes was looking to retire. Red Coats built an excellent reputation and brand. As such the Red Coats brand continues with it's website and call center. All jobs will be done by Divas.

FALL CHALLENGE... 3 OUT + 1 IN!

Today, we are CHALLENGING you to a "ONE-in, THREE-out" downsizing task!

TRACK everything you buy for one week. Keep your receipts!

REVIEW your list at the end of the week.

ASK yourself, "Did I really need everything I bought?"

IDENTIFY impulse purchases and return them.

TOTAL the number of new things you brought into your home.

FIND THREE times that number of items. Let them go -- sell, donate, dispose -- whatever, just get them out of the house!

REPEAT this process each week and you'll save space, money... and your sanity!

Recently, I heard an expression, "the pandemic is a portal" to describe what's been happening around us.

I googled the term and found a video by Arundhati Roy, an Indian author and political activist involved in human rights and environmental causes.
