The City of Auburn’s Historic & Cultural Sites Commission launched a multi-faceted marketing campaign to visitors across NYS with video, billboards, ads & merchandise touting Auburn as a destination of choice for history, culture, public art, food & beverage, and nature. Purchase the new merchandise line featuring t-shirts & hats available at the Downtown Auburn Saturday Market starting on Founder's Day. Video 
Get out and about for free art, activities, culture & live entertainment, plus food & beverage specials and merchandise discounts. Make rounds to the businesses & organizations participating in this community event. Venues include A.T. Walley; Auburn Discount Liquor; Cayuga Museum; Evolve CBD; Hairlooms Salon; Melody's; Moondog’s Lounge; Next Chapter Brewpub; Prison City North; Refinery Modern Fare; Reuse Refuge; Seward House Museum; Schweinfurth Art Center; Shepherd’s Brewing Co and Thirsty Pug Craft Beer. 
Saturday, August 5 @ 11AM – 6PM attend this Genesee Street festival staged between William/Dill Street & South Street. Food vending & wing competition, Exchange Street Saturday Market vending, 4PM judging, 5PM awards, plus a free-throw basketball shooting competition, live music and DJ Quis as showmobile entertainment.
Saturday, August 12 @ 10AM – 9PM on Genesee Street between William/Dill Street & Exchange Street and to Loop Road for the car cruise-in. From 10AM - 3PM view antique & classic cars, and an ongoing street festival, family fun & food vending. Live music acts include Gold Dust Gypsies 2 - 4PM, Glass Image 4 - 6PM, and Dirtroad Ruckus 6 - 9PM. Plus, State Street Plaza performances by Auburn choral group Genesee Street Voices @ Noon – 12:45PM and the Witchy Women of the Finger Lakes @ 1:30PM.

The garage offers long-term convenient covered parking downtown central, plus electric car charging stations. The first 2 hours are FREE & capped at $6 a day.

The City of Auburn & BID created a special parking program to encourage business downtown. The program includes on-street spaces & the Downtown Parking Garage, yet does not include the City’s long-term lots on Dill Street, Court Street & Seminary Avenue. This program is honored per day. After two hours, please park in a long-term lot or in the garage. Parking enforcement monitors cars Monday Friday 9AM 5PM. The City is issuing courtesy tickets if you haven’t received a parking ticket in the past 6 months.
