Hello, Newsletter Readers -
We hope these past few weeks have been ones of recovery and, when possible, rest. It is important to continue to acknowledge the devastating impact the Marshall and Middle Fork Fires have had on our communities. However, the incredible support of individuals and businesses alike provides hope that the future is indeed a bright one. Because of you - our families and friends and neighbors - there is so much good to acknowledge even in the darkest of times. Thanks to everyone who has shown kindness and patience the past few weeks.
We continue to update our hub of resources as recovery efforts are well underway. While the support of the community has been outstanding, the road ahead is a long one. Keep reading for more fire recovery updates, as well as ways to support small businesses (and for fun, a coffee trail...there is nothing better than a hot drink to warm the soul this time of year)!
Take care of one another!

Resource For Those Impacted:
- For questions, to report missing people or to report non-emergency issues, the Boulder County Call Center can be reached at 303-413-7730.
- Boulder County has partnered with the Boulder Area Rental Housing Association (BARHA) to help ensure residents displaced by the Marshall Fire have access to a list of comprehensive housing resources. Displaced residents can visit the BARHA webpage for frequently updated available properties and resources in the region. Individuals and landlords with available homes who are interested in listing properties available for displaced residents should complete the form at the top of the MarshallFireHousing.com page. Their goal is to give every student a gift card of at least $100 to the book store so that they can begin rebuilding their personal libraries. Entire donations will go towards a gift card for a BVSD student. Each student will receive a 33% discount when they use the gift card. A $100 gift card would buy $150 worth of books. Donate here.

Cozy Up With Our Coffee Trail!
|
|
|
|
Nothing says comfort in winter like a warm cup of coffee. In fact, it's been scientifically proven (by my own personal experience) that coffee is the cure to almost anything in life. Whether you are looking for a classic cup of joe, a creamy matcha latte or a spiced chai tea, downtown Boulder is filled with businesses sure to give you a caffeine boost.
And in case you are going stir-crazy or are in need of a new remote work spot, coffee shops serve as the perfect excuse to get out of the house for a while.
To help you discover all the best spots downtown, we created a coffee trail. Conquer it all in one day, or take your time this winter to find your favorite one. After all, there are very few problems that can't be solved within the walls of a coffee house.
