October is Women's Small Business Month, and downtown Boulder would not be the same without the many female leaders and entrepreneurs in our community.
Madison Moorhead, owner of Apocalypse (pictured above), brings a funky lens to sustainable shopping through the creation of her resale store on the East End. Marcy Miller was sitting in Trident when she developed the idea for her fast-service farm-to-table restaurant, Organic Sandwich Company. And Maruta Kalnins regularly travels to Nepal, India and Latvia to gather jewelry and textiles from local merchants for her store, Gypsy Jewel.
