Hello Newsletter Readers,

It's that time of year when a sweater is needed in the morning and a t-shirt works just fine by the afternoon, which means only one thing - fall is upon us! Colorful leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, cool weather...the best time of the year is right around the corner. Come celebrate the changing of seasons at Fall Fest this weekend, September 16 - 18!

If you're looking for even more activities to keep you busy, stop by the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) at the Boulder Public Library on Saturday and Sunday. A festival of literature from all over the world, JLF at Colorado invites you to examine the human experience through the reflections and imaginations of distinguished contemporary authors from across the globe. Free and open to everyone!

Autumn is almost here, and it's time to celebrate! From cooler temps to the beauty of changing leaves, it's a magical time to explore Boulder. Join us downtown

September 16 - 18 for Fall Fest, a three-day annual celebration filled with food & drink, crafts, free children's activities, live music and more. Plus, enjoy 100+ artisans in Firefly Handmade Markets fall show on the Pearl Street Mall! Check out our blog for more information.

Pearl Street Stampedes

September 23 I October 14 & 28 I November 4, 2022

Cheer on your favorite hometown football team the night before each home game at the Pearl Street Stampedes. Join hundreds of Buffs fans on the 1300 block of Pearl Street at 7 pm on September 23 as members of the Golden Buffalo Marching Band play. Head west with the Stampede (and cheer squad) and pump up players and coaches before they take on UCLA!

2022 Dates: Friday, September 23 (UCLA), Friday, October 14 (California - Family Weekend), Friday, October 28 (Arizona State - Homecoming), Friday, November 4 (Oregon)

Downtown Job Walk

September 28, 2022 I 10 am - 4 pm

Are you seeking your next employment opportunity? Come downtown September 28 from 10 am - 4 pm and participate in the Downtown Job Walk! Businesses who are actively looking to hire will be available to collect applications and resumes for a variety of open positions, as well as hold on-the-spot interviews for qualified candidates. Positions are available in retail, restaurant and service industries for both part-time and full-time employment.

If you come downtown to participate in the Job Walk, you can park for free at any of the city-owned parking garages from 9 am - 5 pm. Participating businesses will have a QR code to use when exiting garages that will make your parking free of charge!

Take 5 for local food by participating in Boulder County Farmers Market's (BCFM) Take 5 Challenge. Spend $5 at the farmers market by purchasing five items locally from your grocery list or visit five times during market season. Every little bite helps support local farmers and the community where you live. Sign up and start earning BCFM swag and community bragging rights for every action you take!

Our friends at Visit Boulder have created an interactive way to dine out in the city while earning rewards and enjoying specials! On September 1, 2022, the City of Boulder launched the Outdoor Dining Pilot Program in response to the success of temporary outdoor dining expansions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The new, five-year Pilot Program runs through October 31, 2027. See participating downtown restaurants where you can soak up patio vibes all year long!
