It's a sure sign that summer is on the way....the downtown pop jets are officially turned on for the season! Head downtown to the 1300 block of the Pearl Street Mall to enjoy watching the water dance and bring your kids to cool off. Keep an eye out for free rides on the 100% electric Tebo Train (Monday - Friday mornings) starting next Tuesday!

May 20 - August 27, 2022

For a second year, the City of Boulder presents Arts in the Park! The program highlights a vibrant blend of arts and cultural performances at the Glen Huntington Bandshell in the Civic Area. 


The first performance is Mahler Fest on Friday, May 20 followed by Streetwise Art Battle (a Boulder Creek Fest Event) from May 28 - 30 and Butterfly Effect Theater on Thursday, June 2. All of these initial performances are free to the public!


Arts in the Park Signature Performances sponsored by the city include the Boulder Ballet (June 10 – 11), Boulder Symphony (July 4), Boulder Opera (July 29 - 30) and Boulder Philharmonic (August 26 - 27) with more sponsored performances to be announced.

Creekside Beer Fest


May 28 - 29, 2022

Enjoy beer tastings from top breweries around the country while listening to live music at the Creekside Beer Fest. Part of the Boulder Creek Festival, Beer Fest offers unlimited tastings of local brews from Avery, Upslope, Bootstrap Brewing and more. Must be 21+ - grab your tickets early!


Boulder Creek Festival is a three-day extravaganza filled with music from 30+ artists, dozens of artisans, family-friendly activities like obstacle courses and so much more. Come celebrate with the Boulder community over Memorial Day Weekend!

BOLDERBoulder SportsEXPO


May 28 - 29, 2022

The BOLDERBoulder 10K returns this Memorial Day! The globally recognized race travels through Boulder’s neighborhoods, downtown and then finishes at the University of Colorado’s Folsom Field. 


Before race day, head to the Pearl Street Mall for the SportsEXPO on May 28 & 29. Wander the historic pedestrian mall while perusing hundreds of local vendors. From food to clothing and everything in between, come downtown to partake in the spectacle!

Park to Park


May 28 - September 5, 2022

Visiting Chautauqua Park this summer? Shuttle there for free on weekends and holidays courtesy of the City of Boulder Park to Park program! Simply park for free at one of the five City of Boulder parking garages (look for the green 'P'), the Regent lot at the University of Colorado-Boulder or New Vista High School. The shuttle is free and runs every 15 minutes from 8 am - 8 pm on weekends and holidays.


For more transportation alternatives to visit Chautauqua, consider taking the Hop 2 Chautauqua. This free transit service provides rides to the Colorado Music Festival and Chautauqua Summer Series events.
