Be Heard! Take the Outdoor Use & Community Surveys
Downtown's outdoor public spaces (sidewalks and street space) will continue to be utilized for expanded seating and outdoor dining into 2021 to accommodate social distancing and health and safety guidelines. As the City of Santa Cruz continues to make important decisions about how to best support a revitalized Downtown, we want to provide them input from our Downtown business owners: take the Downtown Outdoor Use Survey.

Even in the worst of times, gratitude can make us feel better - give it a try! Take the Downtown Community Survey and share what you like about your life in downtown Santa Cruz. We'll also ask about your personal interests. In 2021, the Downtown Association is launching more virtual peer circles, like our new Downtown Restaurateur Circle, and we want there to be one for YOU!

The Downtown Ambassadors have been hard at work keeping our streets clean, safe and welcoming! In November, they enjoyed gifting holiday lights to all our off-Pacific businesses, coordinating with the Pacific Avenue holiday bulbs that turned on last night! At the Information Kiosk and walking around town daily, Ambassadors recommended your business to visitors, direct downtown guests to dining, shopping and public restrooms, pick up hundreds of pieces of litter, connect individuals in need of assistance to social service outreach workers, and so much more. If you see Alina, Brandon, Butterfly, Cody, Joanna or Marissa feel free to say hello and thank you!
