Da Vinci, AJ's Liquors, Sponsor Comedy Series Pilot in Downtown Carterville
Champaign Comedy Review to be held at newly renovated Irons in the Fire Event Center.

Social Media Promotion Provided By Harness Digital Marketing

Carterville, IL: Several local sponsors will underwrite a stand-up comedy performance featuring professional comedians from the Champaign-Urbana comedy circuit. The Champaign Comedy Review is a pilot show in a proposed series of comedy events which could become commonplace throughout Southern Illinois, including performances along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, at performance venues in Williamson County, and open mics and feature shows in Downtown Carbondale.

The Champaign Comedy Review will be held at Irons in the Fire Event Center, located at 113 Jersey Street in Carterville, at 7pm on Saturday, November 26th. Audience members are allowed to bring their own wine or beer to the event. Alcohol will not be provided at this event.

Featured in the Champaign Comedy Review are Eric Sizemore, Jordan Hall, and Rob Swoverland.
  • Eric Sizemore is a long-time comedian, voiceover actor, and librarian. He brings a pragmatic perspective on life and parenting to bear in his performance and is relatable to a T.
  • Jordan Hall is breakout comedic talent with potential to reach the stars. His energetic and engaged style will have you laughing out of your seat, even if you're not sure what you're laughing at.
  • Rob Swoverland has a speaking voice that can only be described as Saint-like, but spoken words couldn't be further from Sainthood. Rob's jokes are the reason the Champaign Comedy Review is "Rated-R."

The headlining act, Michael LeBuhn, is not only a comedy veteran, but a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. He has served our country both overseas and in the White House. Luckily not every funny story he has is classified. Michael, along with being an enthusiastic storyteller, has spent much of his life on the pulpit preaching the good word to followers of Christ. For the love of all things holy, we wish we could tell you that his act is without sin, but that would be a lie, and we've been sinful enough as is.

Local comedian and show organizer Nathan Colombo will Emcee.

Tickets are limited to 85 audience members, and thanks to sponsors Da Vinci and AJ's Liquor, tickets are only $7 online.
