Dear DJQ Community,
Our new brand identity and website launched recently! Our new look captures the past and present of our business district, while also looking toward our community’s future. Our agency, Three Furies, developed the new logo with a vibrant color palette, created custom illustrations, and they even coined a new neighborhood nickname—“DJQ” —to use on stickers and social media.

The NYC Department of Small Business Services is currently accepting applications for the Business Preparedness and Resiliency Program (BPREP) Risk Assessment and Grant Program.
Eligible small businesses or commercial properties will receive a free on-site, one-on-one risk assessment and $5,000 reimbursement grant to buy recommended resiliency equipment, such as flood barriers, generators, and fireproof storage containers.

From July through October, the NYC Public Engagement Unit is hosting free community resource and benefit enrollment fairs every Saturday in neighborhoods across all five boroughs. At each event, residents can get screened for benefits, apply for programs on-site, and connect with City resources and services.
