ICSC RECon - Retail Strategy Team
On May 19 - May 23, the Retail Strategy Team, consisting of municipal leaders from Salem, Bristol, City of Kenosha, KABA, Kenosha County, Downtown Kenosha, Inc. (DKI), Pleasant Prairie and Somers, went to the ICSC RECon (International Council of Shopping Centers) in Las Vegas to open more opportunities and secure deals for our communities.

Over the past year leading up to this event, JLL has helped to position our communities to be prepared to go after prime retail interested in our area by showcasing the communities, their assets and their desire to secure these developments.

Downtown Kenosha will host the area’s newest (and most musical) public art project this summer! Keyed Up Kenosha features 12 upright pianos designed and decorated by local artists and placed throughout the Downtown district for the community to play and enjoy all summer long!

Summertime Has Arrived

Flower Baskets
This summer, 64 flower baskets will adorn the streets of downtown Kenosha adding to the beauty of our reinvigorating downtown area.

Our Adopt-a-Flower-Basket project allows you to contribute in an important and personal way. To show our appreciation, a plaque on the lam post will note your sponsorship or honor the memory of a loved one.

Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month
June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness month to raise awareness and support those living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. On behalf of the Alzheimer's Association of southeastern Wisconsin there will be purple ribbons tied around trees downtown in the month of June.
