DOWNTOWN LIBRARY NEW HOURS

Beginning June 30, 2025, the Downtown Library will close one hour earlier, Monday through Thursday, at 8:00pm. Friday through Sunday Hours at the Downtown Library will remain the same, as will weekly hours at the Redwood Shores Branch Library and Schaberg Branch Library. This shift allows us to better align staffing with peak usage times and ensure excellent customer service when it’s needed most. Our data shows that the final hour of the day has consistently been our quietest, and this adjustment helps us use our resources more efficiently. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we adjust Library operations to serve you better.

Library hours are detailed on our Locations and Hours webpage.
