Two Sessions Available

Downtown Melbourne Property Owners and Business Owners are invited to participate in one of two hosted public workshops on August 31, 2022, to discuss parking management challenges.


The Downtown Melbourne CRA has secured consulting services from Walker Consultants in consideration of the implementation of parking management in Downtown Melbourne. Walker specializes in parking management services related to planning studies, management technologies, construction & maintenance, and financial feasibility.


Melbourne Main Street and the City of Melbourne are collaborating in these efforts and the first step is to engage our Downtown Melbourne Stakeholders with a public workshop. The focus of the workshop is to provide a universal understanding of parking management used in similar-sized cities within Florida and in other states, with a preliminary analysis of Downtown Melbourne.


Melbourne Main Street and the City of Melbourne view the participation of Downtown Melbourne Business and Property Owners as vital to these discussions.


In an effort to accommodate business schedules and maximize participation, this workshop will be offered in two separate sessions on August 31, 2022.


A morning session will be held at 8:00 AM and an evening session will be held at 5:30 PM.


Reservations are requested by selecting your preferred time below.


The workshops will be held within Council Chambers, Melbourne City Hall, 900 E. Strawbridge Ave. For your convenience, parking is available within the adjacent City Hall Parking Garage.
