Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program
A Message from Visit Mesa:
Hidden Disabilities
Sunflower Program

Not all disabilities are visible – some are not immediately obvious. As part of our commitment to welcome all visitors to “City Limitless,” we are pleased to announce The Visit Mesa Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program, helping visitors who might need just a little extra time or care.

These easy-to-identify lanyards and bracelets are available at the Visit Mesa visitors center (120 N Center St.) as well as hotels/attractions throughout the city, to those who simply ask for it. Click HERE to print and display an informative poster for your staff, and HERE for a short introduction video.

To business owners and employees: if someone is wearing a lanyard or bracelet, it means: “Simply be kind, patient, and provide extra help if needed.”

The Visit Mesa Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program supports those who might need just a little extra time or care as they explore our beautiful city. Join Visit Mesa in honoring what it truly means to be “Mesa City Limitless” by welcoming people of all abilities.
