Dear Business Owner/Property Owner

We recognize the impact the regional Stay-at-Home Order is having on our businesses and community. We are working closely with the Downtown Association, Visit Morgan Hill and the Chamber of Commerce on a few initiatives to support businesses during these difficult times. The purpose of this letter is to share with you some of the initiatives being undertaken and ask you to affirm your contact information (email and cell phone, preferably) so we can provide regular updates.
Launch of Curbside Pick-up (Pink Zones): We will establish curbside pick-up (Pink Zones) through downtown for safe, quick, and convenient pick up of food or other retail items from local businesses in Downtown during the COVID-19 pandemic. 
  • City will deploy signs and flags
  • Businesses are asked to place signs in front of preferred pick-up location
  • Please inform your customers and tenants that parking spaces with Pink Zone signs are reserved for pick-up only
  • Businesses are asked to manage and maintain placement of signs as necessary

Preparing for Re-Opening: We are asking businesses to plan for outdoor dining and get appropriate approvals from the Fire Marshall on heaters and tents. Below are the links to our outdoor dining guidelines:

Resources: Congress just passed an additional $325 billion in funds for new PPP forgivable and EIDL loans. Information will be released on the SBA website soon. Also, visit our website for information on additional financial resources.

Share contact information: We are continually working to support our local businesses and help them through these trying times. Share your information with us so we can keep you and your team up to date.

Finally, we know how challenging this year has been for all of us.
