  • Join the DSIC under the stars in front of City Hall every Wednesday in August for Downtown Schenectady Starlight Cinema!
  • Sit on the steps of City Hall or bring your own chairs and blankets to enjoy a concert and movie for FREE! The event kicks off each week at 6 p.m. with live music; movies begin at dusk (around 8:15-8:30 p.m.).
  • Come hungry and purchase dinner from the Mike's Hot Dogs food truck, or order takeout from one of our Downtown Schenectady restaurants and bring it with you to enjoy during the event.

Schenectady Business Awards Nominations Now Open

This fall, the Chamber of Schenectady County will honor businesses located in Schenectady County that have made positive contributions to the community. They are now accepting nominations for the following categories:

  • Rising Star/Outstanding New Business Award
  • Business Innovation Award
  • Enterprise of the Year Award
  • Business Leader Award
  • Renaissance Award

To be considered, an organization or individual should not have received an award at this event in the past 10 years. Click here to view previous award recipients. Please submit nominations no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021.
