Restaurants and eateries around the Capital District will offer special menus in celebration of Saratoga's Travers Stakes during the sixth annual Travers 1864 Restaurant Week. During the five-day event, diners can enjoy prix-fixe meals at participating restaurants for $18.64, the year of the inaugural running of the Travers.

GE Theatre - Part of the FREE Animation Fest 2015. A heartfelt comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends.

By popular demand, this year the Wing Walk moves to a Saturday afternoon with expanded hours! Come taste amazing chicken wing recipes at participating downtown restaurants and vote on your favorite. Entertainment continues into the evening at various establishments. Coordinated with the Schenectady County Visitors Agency.

13th Annual Building Block Party
October 29, 5:30-8:30pm, Proctors
The DSIC's largest annual fundraiser features food from dozens of local restaurants, a spectacular silent auction and the Building  Block Awards honoring downtown businesses.
