Rainbow Lounge Returning to Downtown
Iconic cocktail lounge in the former Hotel Syracuse will return later this year
The Rainbow Lounge, an iconic cocktail lounge that many remember from the Hotel Syracuse, will return to the Marriott Syracuse Downtown! The new Rainbow Lounge - to be revamped as an upscale steakhouse - will re-open in the first-floor space where the original restaurant opened in 1937. Plans call for the space to be open next fall. The new lounge will mirror the original, complete with a
circular bar, terrazzo floor, glass-block windows and multi-colored lights that inspired its name.
The Rainbow Lounge will be the hotel's third and final on-site restaurant.
