ButBeerAnything But Beer to Open Later This Summer
Coming to The White Memorial Building ( map)

Anything But Beer will open in Downtown Syracuse by the end of August or early in September in the White Memorial Building, located at 201-203 South Salina Street. There will be a taproom featuring Anything But Beer's products, as well as guest beers, cider, wine and distilled products from New York State. There will also be a kitchen, with an expanded dining room expected to open later this fall. The menu will feature gluten-free, vegan and paleo options, and the restaurant will offer lunch, dinner and late-night service.

Anything But Beer products have been served at 70+ venues locally. The concept uses a fruit and/or vegetable base to brew alcoholic beverages instead of the barley malt typically found in beer. The beverages are carbonated like beer and share a similar alcohol percentage (6-7%).  Anything But Beer was originally slated to open Downtown at 250-252 East Water Street. The space it will occupy in the White Memorial Building was most recently home to Sahm Brewery, and prior to that, Clark's Ale House.

The SYNC bikes are part of a 200-fleet bike share system, accessible from a smart phone app. Users can download the Gotcha app, find a bike hub, scan the QR code on the bike's handlebars, pay a fee and ride off. Users pay a $2 fee, plus 15 cents for each minute of use. Monthly and yearly subscriptions are also available, which provide users with one hour of ride time each day. When finished, users may return the bikes to any of the 35 bike hubs.  Click here to see a full list of places to pick-up and return bicycles.
