This means indoor dining is permitted for tables of four or less people. All restaurants in the state are required to close at 10:00 pm for on-site dining. Click here to see the list of dining options, and hours of operation for Downtown restaurants.

The Future of I-81: Project to Start In 2022
As the community awaits the results of an environmental review conducted by the Federal Highway Administration and a final public comment period, we learned last week that the groundbreaking of the I-81 project is projected to begin in 2022. In his State of the State address, New York Governor Cuomo said the I-81 viaduct will be transformed into a "modern transportation corridor." An elevated 1.4 mile long portion of the highway runs through Downtown Syracuse, and has outlived its useful life. Plans call for it to be taken down or rebuilt. The New York State Department of Transportation previously announced it favors the Community Grid approach, which would remove the elevated portion of the highway and bring it down to streetlevel, eliminating a barrier that's long divided neighborhoods and opening up new opportunities for development.
