Economic Injury Disaster Loans Available Through Small Business Administration
|
Small businesses are now eligible to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan through the Small Business Administration (SBA). SBA Administrator Jovita Carranza has approved a statewide disaster declaration for NY, and eligible small businesses may
apply
for these loans online. The SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program provides small businesses with working capital loans of up to $2 million that can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.

Calls are intended for anyone who is showing possible symptoms, may have had exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, and/or anyone who may be experiencing symptoms.

Leaders Partner to Establish COVID-19 Community Support Fund
|
Community leaders have partnered to establish a donation fund to get money quickly to organizations helping city and county neighbors. The Central New York Community Foundation - in partnership with the Allyn Foundation, City of Syracuse, Onondaga County and the United Way of Central New York – created the
COVID-19 Community Support Fund
to support nonprofit organizations working with those who have been disproportionately impacted economically. The Community Foundation donated $300,000 to start the fund, and encourages the community to donate. The fund’s goal is to deploy flexible resources in the form of a one-time operating grant to non-profits supporting vulnerable populations. The Community Foundation will work with the partnering entities listed above to administer the grants.
