Welcome to the first issue of the Downtown Tiffin Times.  This journal is an opportunity to share the positive growth and development that is taking place in our downtown.  It will also showcase downtown events, highlight downtown businesses and provide an update on our progress with the 2010 Downtown Strategic Plan.  You will find a new Downtown Tiffin Times every month.

New Downtown Botique

Scrap Happy owner Susan Wilkinson has announced she will be opening a new store, Simply Susan's, at the former location of Hey That's My Stuff in downtown Tiffin. Wilkinson hopes to open the store at 70 South Washington Street in early September.  Read More

Downtown Events
Farmer's Market
The last two Farmer's Markets have brought over 800 individuals into the  downtown. Activities that have been incorporated into the market ha ve  been: yoga on the community green, listening to live music, children's arts and crafts, and cooking  shows with 138 owner, Mike Pinkston. The Farmer's Market now takes place on the 2nd and 4th Saturday from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Read more
Plan Progress
 
Plan Update
The 2010 Downtown Strategic Plan  is a comprehensive plan focused on the revitalization of downtown Tiffin.  It has 124 action items and was set up with the Ohio Main Street Four Point Approach in mind.   The Four Point Approach consists of four committees: Operations, Business Enhancement, Marketing and Design.  We are currently working or have completed approximately 50% of the action tasks at this time.
