New Britain Releases Downtown Development Update
Mayor Erin Stewart released the New Britain Downtown Development Update saying, “Despite the setbacks of COVID-19, 2020 was a major year for development in our downtown.”

Downtown New Britain continued to transform, from the addition of hundreds of units of new housing and “mom and pop” shops, to the completion of the iconic Beehive Bridge and more. The update provides brief highlights of recently complete projects as well as those that are currently in the planning stages.

First Town Downtown Announces New Executive Director

CMSC member First Town Downtown in Windsor announced Genevieve Lattimer will be its new Executive Director. Genevieve comes from the Hartford Marathon Foundation where she managed teams of volunteers and coordinated large events. Read the announcement.
