“We have a vision for what our Main Street can be. Knowing that Connecticut Main Street Center shares that vision and can point us to the resources needed to bring that vision to life has been invaluable. Their enthusiasm and support has been just what we needed.”
CMSC believes there are six core components of a healthy downtown: Place, Economic Vitality, Stewardship, Inclusiveness, Sustainability and Connectivity.
Because of our commitment to ensuring and celebrating the many diverse voices inherent our downtowns, CMSC has signed on in support ofDesegregate CT, “a collaborative of people and institutions who believe that we have a moment to change statewide land use laws to ensure a more just and equitable Connecticut”.

CMSC Corporate Investor Windsor Federal Savings Expands Its
Community Reach to South Windsor
CMSC Corporate Investor Windsor Federal Savings is seeking local approval to build a new location near Buckland Hills mall in South Windsor. With the expansion, the bank hopes to capitalize on the declining number of community banks in the Greater Hartford area. The nearly 2,700 square-foot branch will take the place of a loan office Windsor Federal opened in South Windsor last year, its first-ever physical presence in the town.
Windsor Federal prides itself on being a small community bank that provides financial products and services to meet the needs of community members and local businesses, while delivering exceptional customer service. Windsor Federal is a Corporate Investor in CMSC because they believe vibrant main street centers that feature modern housing and transportation options as well as local, unique businesses are crucial to building strong communities where members can flourish.
