Fall into the Arts with the visual and performing artists and businesses of The Downtown Arts District Association (DADA). Chalk Art Contest with $100 prize and performances by: Spring Theatre, Three Graces Dance Troupe, AURA with special guest Allie T. 

Interested chalk artists may sign up to enter by email at [email protected] or register in person on hop day between 6:30 and 7:00 pm at the DADA Headquarters at North Trade Street Arts.

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the 2022 Sundance Film Festival Satellite Screen partners, 7 independently owned arthouse cinemas across the United States that have been selected, and each will connect the Festival and its artists directly with local audiences.

The American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials, or AASHTO, is recognizing the project that follows U.S. 421 through downtown Winston-Salem as a finalist in the 2021 America’s Transportation Awards competition. This is one of just 12 projects nationwide and the only N.C. Department of Transportation project in the finals. The winning project could win the national Grand Prize or the People’s Choice Award, both valued at $10,000 for a charity or transportation-related scholarship of the winners’ choosing.
