WORCESTER, MA – The Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District (BID) is proud to announce the appointment of Victoria Mariano as its new Program Director. In this role, Mariano will oversee a number the BID’s current programs, including its efforts focused on placemaking, beautification, safety and hospitality. She will also be responsible for developing and implementing new programs and initiatives to further enhance the downtown area, driving growth and community engagement.
With a background in entrepreneurship, Mariano brings a wealth of experience to the role. She previously owned and operated the iconic Bull Mansion, a popular restaurant and event space in Downtown Worcester. She also currently owns Electric Haze, a Canal District music venue and lounge that has become a local favorite for its diverse range of creative programming and events.
Mariano's entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to community development align with the Downtown Worcester BID's mission to promote economic growth and vitality in the area. As a graduate of Clark University, she has a deep understanding of the Worcester community and is committed to contributing to its continued success.

Mariano's appointment comes at a crucial time for the Downtown Worcester BID, as it works to revitalize the area and engage the community in new ways in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her expertise and leadership will be instrumental in helping to re-energize Downtown and create new opportunities for businesses and residents alike.
