Iron Willed: Women in STEM
We are proud to announce the upcoming Exhibit Opening of "Iron Willed: Women in STEM", a spectacular new travelling exhibit developed by Ingenium Canada. Experience Women In STEM at 777Bay Street, September 12-October 9th, 2019.
Designed to engage, advance, inspire, and support young women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This exhibit hopes to contribute to international efforts advocating for gender equity, and to address the issue of underrepresentation of women in STEM.
"Do women and girls, as well as their parents, educators, and employers, see themselves equitably represented in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields? Women have made significant contributions to STEM - and continue to do so - but their stories are often untold. Why is that? This travelling display shares some of these stories and provides recognition for the crucial role of women in STEM. Through text and images, the display tells the stories of historical and contemporary Women in STEM, their scientific contributions as well as their challenges in the face of persistent systemic barriers."

YSL Condominium Construction *Update*
We have completed the foundations of the Heritage Retention systems.
The final Yonge closures will be from July 2nd to July 12th, and the final Gerrard closure from July 15th to July 26th. This work will complete the heritage retention system, which will be in place until the new building has been constructed to approximately the 5th storey.
Once the heritage system is in place, we will determine if additional lighting is required.
Vertical drilling will commence July 22nd, 2019 and continue until the spring. Vibration monitors are in place.
We are planning to close O'Keefe lane from July 22nd to the spring of 2020 as per the approved by all Construction Staging Plan which will be occupied during the day, but returned after the day is done.
We expect to implement the community approved construction staging area for 24/7 use of the north portion of O'Keefe lane in the spring of 2020 as previously discussed.
