Reconciliation 2017: Join a Two-Part Forum Discussion on "Non-Violent Atonement"
Sunday, 9:00 a.m., Great Hall ( This is our first talk during the 9:00 a.m. Forum hour about "The Tension Between Peace and Violence.")
Join theologian Dr. David Moseley as we begin our six-week forum series on "The Tension Between Peace and Violence" with a theological exploration of the violence of atonement and its peaceful alternatives. Dr. Moseley will lead the first two of six forums. 

Sudan
Choral Evensong for Sudan
Sunday, 5:00 p.m.
This Choral Evensong service, offered in partnership with St. Luke's, North Park, will commemorate the Martyrs of Sudan (May 16) and hold in prayer the people of Sudan and South Sudan. South Sudan became independent in 2011 and after a short period was engulfed by civil war. The country is now suffering a famine and widespread violence. This service features special music and a sermon by the Rev. Laurel Mathewson, co-vicar of St. Luke's. The plate offering will be designated for St. Luke's Sudanese ministry.
