8th grade students at the Dr. E. Alma Flagg school in North Newark just finished their Ram Animodule to represent the school as the school mascot. Congratulations to the students involved and Darrell Goza, artist in residence for this project.

A note from one of the students:
I just finished a very important art project, a proposal for a sculpture in my school. It was a tough project, one that took a month longer than I expected, and now I know that participating, and getting paint all over my clothes and a few exhausting back and forth with my friends, not to mention long days huddling over the sculpture, trying to make the paint come out right. We finished our project and it became a masterpiece. Now "WE" know that working together can get you many places and achieve many things in the world.

Students with Chandri Barat and Dr. E Alma Flagg principal,
