Dear Barrington 220 Community:

This past fall I launched a new video series called "Dr. Hunt OutFront". The series highlights Barrington 220 staff members who go above and beyond to improve the student experience, as well as our exceptional students. The focus of the video series relates to our theme for the 2021-22 school year, which is #SeetheStudent220.

I am excited to share with you the third episode in which I had the opportunity to get to know Pam Meiser, the Teacher Librarian at Barbara Rose Elementary School. Ms. Meiser has been working in Barrington 220 for the past 26 years. She has worked as the Teacher Librarian at Rose for the past 12 years.

Ms. Meiser goes above and beyond to support her school community by creating special book bags for students, opening the Rose library in the summer and attending PTO events. She says her favorite children’s book is “A Little Princess” by Frances Hodgson Burnett because of the great characters, the mystery, dramatic changes in circumstance, the nasty headmistress, the generous neighbor and the surprise happy ending.

I want to thank Ms. Meiser for her commitment to always #SeetheStudent220. Please view the video by clicking the link below.
