Martin Luther King, Jr., Holiday

OLLI and SOU are closed in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday Monday, January 15. Classes resume and the OLLI office reopens Tuesday, January 16.


SOU is one of many local organizations sponsoring the MLK, Jr., holiday celebration from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 15, at the historic Ashland Armory. The event is free and open to the public.

Special Performance for OLLI Members

Chamber Music Concerts presents a special performance for OLLI members by the Goldmund Quartet.

One Credit Course Enrollment

Help SOU students and get free access to the SOU Hannon Library by participating in the One Credit program! The more members who participate, the more funding SOU gets from the State of Oregon to support the next generation of lifelong learners.


To participate, you must be age 65+ and have lived in Oregon for at least 12 months. Sign up for the One Credit program by filling out this short form. One credit will be applied to each of your winter term courses! If you are unable to fill out the online form, give our office a call and we will help: 541-552-6048. We just have to verify your date of birth and residence. Forms are due by Friday, January 26.
