Body and Soul
At the level of the soul, we are infinite, eternal, immortal, and unlimited.
At the level of human incarnation, our body is finite, temporal, mortal, and limited—we are born, we live in a specific physical body, and we will eventually “exit” the body.
We are infinite, eternal, immortal souls in finite, temporal, mortal human bodies. Within the Akashic Records, both states of being are true at the same time. Quite the paradox!
Every human body experiences physical pain at some time or another. Some of us experience pain more frequently (or even chronically), some experience it severely, and some may even find physical pain temporarily or permanently debilitating.
From an Akashic perspective, pain is a universal human experience. Pain is not punishment. Illnesses and disasters are not indictments of the soul. The soul remains whole even when the human experience is painful.
In essence, an Akashic Records reading is a HEALING experience. Our pains or infirmities are not healed by the Records, but our Soul finds healing through the Akashic Records.
Two truths can coexist: at the soul level you are perfect, whole, well, while in physical life you may experience real limitations and suffering. These truths do not cancel each other.
Wounds can become a spiritual doorway that can support growth by strengthening your ability to love yourself and others in the middle of imperfection.
“Is it possible for me to love and respect myself even though I have… (this pain/this condition/this history)?” “How do I love and respect myself even though I am suffering?”
We don’t “heal the soul” because the soul cannot be damaged. The work is restoring your awareness of your innate wholeness, which can create real shifts in the physical, emotional, and mental realms. The Records are an atmosphere of compassion and truth that helps you perceive yourself differently, which can change how you care for yourself and what actions you take.
In the Records, we become allowers of healing by recognizing what is true at the soul level and letting the light move through us.
Here is a practical Akashic protocol for healing:

Awareness. Name what’s happening in the body and how it affects your life—without judgment. Include your fears, frustrations, and self-criticism too. A helpful phrase here is: “Of course I feel that way.” and “These things happen.”

Acceptance. Acceptance is not approval. It means acknowledging the reality of the condition and your current response to it. In the Records, acceptance triggers release—it loosens what’s “stuck,” including harsh judgments that can intensify distress.

Appropriate Action. Ask for guidance about the next right step that supports your well-being (medical care, rest, boundaries, lifestyle changes, asking for help, etc.). The Records emphasize that lasting change requires inner and outer alignment.

Honoring your Soul’s choice. Hold the bigger question gently: If this condition is present right now, what supports my Soul’s purposes and my ability to love life anyway? This isn’t resignation, it’s spiritual maturity, staying aligned with yourself regardless of outcome.
