Dr. Michael Barresi of Smith College is a Renaissance Man in the zebrafish research field. Whether it's research, teaching, student outreach, or art, Dr. Barresi's work seeks the answer to the basic question, why are we the way we are? The desire to find answers to this question led Dr. Barresi to become a developmental neurobiologist using the zebrafish as his model research system.
