I hope that everyone enjoyed the week off and was able to spend time with family and friends. In this week's edition:

Football Advances to the Semifinals
Our football team will take on Wekiva High School this Friday night in the 8A FHSAA semifinal playoffs! DP Panther Zone story

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday - Friday on campus during both lunch shifts in the South Campus commons area. Cost of tickets are $9.00 each. If you prefer to purchase a digital ticket, you may do so for a small additional service fee; please click the following link: https://gofan.co/app/events/19022

DP Merchandise on Sale
Sweatshirts and T-shirts will be sold at the panther during both lunch shifts. Cash, credit, or checks made payable to Dr. Phillips High School are accepted. The Panther Store (located directly behind the Panther) will be open with lots of DP merchandise. Cash or check make payable to DP High School are accepted in the store. Let's show our DP spirit this Friday night!!

VPA ART:
ART with HEART Club
The Visual Arts club "Art with Heart" completed a mural in the heart of Main Street Windermere as a community service project. The Vintage Realty Company is sponsoring the project. The "Art with Heart" club is sponsored by instructor, Dr. Brown and founded by Jaden Asuncion, an 11th grade DPHS student. The purpose of the club is to use art as a tool to brighten the environment for the sick, elderly, and the community. http://teacherpress.ocps.net/dphsvisualarts/art-with-heart-club

Attention DP Nation! Dr. Phillips will be hosting Central Florida's Largest Dance Battle and Step Competition Saturday, Dec. 2 in Larry Payne Gymnasium.  Tickets are on Sale NOW for a limited of time for ONLY $5.  Tickets prices will be more at the door.  Don't miss out. Baseball Conditioning & the "Iron Panther" Competition is back! Starts next Monday, Dec. 4th after school at the baseball field.  You must have ALL DPHS athletic paperwork turned in to compete! #Team31

Women's Basketball 
Women's Basketball wins vs. South Broward



Sophomore guard Courtney Afram-Gyening poured in a team-high 14 points and also collected three steals on the defensive side to lead Women's Basketball to a 36-32 season-opening victory over South Broward Saturday at the Florida Prospects Tournament. Junior forward Zoe Alexander led the Panthers with seven rebounds. DP (1-0) will open up Metro West Conference play Tuesday night at Apopka before returning home Thursday to host Cypress Creek.

Football Playoffs 
DP headed to the State Semifinals this Friday evening!
