Greetings:
I hope that this March 2023 Edition of Gallon’s Good News finds you well rested, reenergized, and refocused as we return from Spring Break. I trust and pray that your time was positively spent with your friends, family, and loved ones during this much needed respite.
As we return to continue the essential and great work of educating and uplifting our students and communities, I remain confident that we will do so with an unabated spirit of commitment, competence, caring, and compassion in our daily efforts as members of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools family and community.
I know that the continued season of annual assessments is well upon us, and you continue to further prepare our students and build their confidence. As you do so, I would like to continue to express my deepest gratitude and honor to each of you for not only the work you do but also for the individual person you are and the value you bring to our school district and broader community.
I would like to wish you continued strength and encouragement, as well as faith that, despite the many challenges we face in our community and across the nation, specifically in the education and uplift of children, youth, and families, we are more than conquerors and remain stronger together.
Again, thanks for your continued efforts, and I look forward to working with and supporting you during the final stretches of the 2022-2023 school year.
Let’s Work!
