First time guests are free.
We are using Meet Up to manage registrations. You may need to register with Meet Up if you haven't already.
Group Q&A
Before the main presentation, please plan to be a part of our group Q&A session. During this 15 minute session, we'll open the meeting for any Business Analysis questions, or questions related to the evening's topic. This is your chance to leverage the massive collective experience of the chapter to address questions or problems you are facing as a BA and would like to get the groups input. You may also be the one with just the right piece of information or advice for a question raised to the group.

Message from the Chapter Board
|
By Linda Meserve, President
Summer marks transition for IIBA Denver, and this year is no different for our Board of Directors. Our by-laws provide for 6 elected positions, each elected for a 2 year term, with terms staggered so that half the directors are new each July. This approach provides continuity, while adding fresh perspectives to the leadership team each year. Starting July 1, your leadership team will include
- President - Linda Meserve - Elected through June 2019
- VP Finance - James Allison - Elected through June 2020
- VP Education - Tom Vosberg - Elected through June 2019
- VP Membership - Susan Futey - Elected through June 2020
- VP Marketing - Alissa Johnson - Elected through June 2019
- VP Communications - Open - Elected through June 2020
Be sure to congratulate these wonderful volunteers. Thank you, everyone, for agreeing to serve!

BABOK Technique Summaries
|
by Debbie Rasor, CBAP
In our ongoing commitment to help our members improve their business analysis skills, each month our newsletter contains a summary article on sections of the BABOK.
This month we are starting our articles on the BABOK techniques and Agile Extension techniques, and we have three new article writers. You can look forward to monthly summaries by Grant Warden, Alissa Johnson, and Julie Ramsey. Thank you to our new team for volunteering!
I'd also like to thank our previous writers Sandi Byron and Barbara Griffith who each wrote BABOK articles for many months!
