3D ProRebar

If you would like to get started with 3D modeling, now is your chance to get the skills you need! Spots are available in our upcoming online 3D detailing courses covering Bentley ProConcrete and aSa ProRebar tools.

Details. Each online course runs approximately 4 hours per day, so you still have time for your day-to-day work. The classes include instruction, plus plenty of time to practice the skills you learn.

The in-person class is 5 full-day hands-on sessions at aSa headquarters near Pittsburgh.

Understanding Security Groups

Question

How are security groups used in aSa.Studio?

Answer

A security group is simply a collection of system permissions. By assigning users to the group, you automatically assign the group's permissions to those users.

The basic process is:

Create a security group with the desired permissions.
Assign users to one or more security groups.

Notes:

A user may be assigned to multiple security groups. In this scenario, the least restrictive security rights apply.
Security groups are assigned per user per location. For example, a user may be in Security Group A at one location, Security Group B at another location, and no security group at a third location. The location the user logs into determines what security groups are applied.

aSa e^x v20.1 is a special version for Rebar Financials customers. The functionality of v18.1 and v20.1 is exactly the same. Neither version contains features nor functionality that the other one doesnʼt. The main difference relates to SQL compatibility. v20.1 was created specifically to enable aSa Rebar Financials customers to upgrade to a newer Microsoft SQL platform.
