Celebrating New Beginnings at Alhambra PD
Three of our dedicated Explorers at Post 411 have taken a significant leap forward in their law enforcement careers! Join us in congratulating Explorer Aung, Explorer Huang, and former Explorer Ramos, who have recently joined Alhambra PD as Community Service Officers. We are immensely proud of their achievements and the progress they've made since joining the Explorer program. Their commitment and hard work have paved the way for this exciting new chapter. Congratulations to Aung, Huang, and Ramos—we look forward to witnessing your continued growth and success in your new roles!

Unit & Membership Renewal
Over 90% of our Members & Units are due to renew this month, by September 30, so likely this applies to you! This year Membership Renewal is separated from Unit Renewal. Many units are directing their member families to pay their individual renewal fees while the units are only paying their unit renewal fees.
Check with your unit treasurer if you have any question on whether your individual registration is being paid by your unit. But please do so, now, as in the vast majority of cases renewals are due at the end of September (whether paid for by the individual or by the unit), Scout on!

Distinguished Conservation Service Award
The Distinguished Conservation Service Award is among the most prestigious and rarest honors in Scouting. This is an exceptional opportunity if you have a Scout, Venturer, or Sea Scout with a passion for conservation. Since 1938, the Boy Scouts of America has offered a robust conservation awards program. Currently, this program recognizes Scouts, Sea Scouts, and Venturers who complete two significant, Eagle-sized conservation projects and earn numerous Merit Badges. The BSA Distinguished Conservation Service (DCS) Awards stand as the highest accolade in the realm of conservation within Scouting and are among the rarest awards available.
