University Academic Support (UAS) is happy to announce that an open computer lab with printing is available from 5 to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. This lab is open for all students to use. If your student is required to attend study tables, use of the lab during the specified hours will also count towards study tables. Students must simply sign in at the main desk in the lab.
Academic consulting in a variety of subjects is available through the UAS/Murphy Center. For more information, students may email tutor@tiffin.edu or visit the UAS website at library.tiffin.edu/UAS.
View the library's full calendar of events at library.tiffin.edu/events. Study table credit for arts or athletics can also be earned by attending webinars. Those who are unable to attend the live webinar will receive a recording to review later if they register.

IN THE KNOW | Campus Safety and Security
|
|
When a student moves away from home and on to a college campus, those who are left back at home want to make sure they are as safe as possible and taken care of. Here at TU, we feel the same way. The safety and security of our students are of the utmost importance to us. We sat down with Sean Durocher, Director of Campus Safety and Security, to talk about our Campus Safety and Security team, along with everything else you need to know as the loved one back at home.
What kind of public safety department is on campus? Are police stationed on campus or does TU partner with the local departments?
Campus Safety and Security is a non-sworn public safety department that is primarily student-run and overseen by a full-time Director and graduate assistant. To ensure the safety of all students, faculty, staff and visitors, we provide 24-hour support of the campus community. Tiffin University does not have police on campus. However, the University works jointly with the Tiffin Police Department.

On November 8, First-Generation Dragons, the campus student organization, will be hosting a panel of faculty, staff and alumni who identified as first-generation college students when they were undergraduates. We invite alumni, family, friends and students to join us at 12:30 p.m. in Osceola theatre in the Gillmor Student Center to learn more about their stories and where they are in their careers. First-Generation Dragons will also be hosting an all-day fundraiser to donate as a scholarship to an incoming first-generation college student for the fall 2022 semester.
