Dear St. George Families,

This time of year, with Christmas upon us, we often hear the question, "What are you thankful for?" When one of the students asked me this question, I replied with a list that could have went on and on. It's always fun to hear what people are thankful for, especially when the children list things like "my dog", "summer", "cookies", "trees", etc. - simple things. Even though we may not mention everything that we are thankful for when we thank God, it doesn't mean we are unappreciative of all His many gifts - even cookies. What are you thankful for? As I type this letter, I am thinking about all the things God has blessed me with. Everything and everyone in my life is, in reality, truly a gift from God. This being the case, I am thankful for you - the people of St. George. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve as principal of our school. I am thankful for people showing kindness, generosity and support. And I am thankful for the life God has given me - past, present and future. On behalf of the staff here at school, I wish you and your family a blessed Christmas, filled with love, laughter, relaxation...and cookies.

God bless,
Jack Nelson

Many thanks to all who donated to the December stewardship project. Thanks to your generosity we were able to purchase 12 bikes for those in need,  along with a donation to the
