Dear St. George Families,
All children are blessed. Ours are especially blessed. To have wonderful parents, loving  families, supportive friends, and caring teachers is the very best thing that we can provide  our children.
None of our children should ever feel alone, unloved, desperate. It is our job, adults in  children's lives, to pay attention to their needs, both emotional and physical. We need to  be present to our children so they feel we are connecting with them. Children need to  know that we are listening and we hear what they are saying. As Catholics it is important  that we help our students learn their faith as well as their academics so they can become  better leaders of tomorrow.
It is my privilege to share in the lives of your children. In them I see the wonderful
innocence of youth. They are filled with hope and joy. I am humbled by the families at  St. George. You continue to be supportive of your children's learning, give many hours  for the benefit of our school, provide financial support, and participate in our parish and  community service projects. You work, run errands, have chores, and yet you are still  here with smiles giving encouragement to your children, teachers and staff.
Our children are very blessed. And so are all of us to live in our St. George faith
community. Have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend.
God Bless,
Jack Nelson
