All Spirit Day / Louisiana Day volunteers must have completed the entire Diocesan certification process. HERE is a link to the school website with the information. Please take care of this NOW as it takes a couple of weeks to receive background check results.

Spirit Day / Louisiana Day - Friday, April 21

Thank you to our 2nd grade parent volunteers for helping to provide and prepare for our Passover Meal. This special meal was a wonderful learning experience for our students.

• Terra Nova Next Testing dates: April 24-26 from 8 am - 10 am
• Testing begins promptly at 8 am. Please arrive at school on time.
• Students who are tardy will not be allowed to join their classes once testing has begun.
• Please avoid scheduling appointments during the testing timeframe.
• Students will not be assigned homework during the days of Terra Nova testing; however, spelling tests, vocab tests, and math quizzes may be given on Thursday, April 27, and Friday, April 28.
• Each day of testing, students need to eat a nutritious breakfast.
• Pencils will be provided; however, students are encouraged to bring extra #2 pencils with erasers to school daily.
• Students should have a book to read after testing.
• Terra Nova makeup testing will be administered on Thursday, April 27. Students will only be allowed to make up tests with approval from administration.

Parents who want their SGS student to receive bus service for next school year must complete and submit a Google form for each SGS student in the family. Below, please find the link to the Google form as well as important information to assist you in completing the form.

Track & Field:

Our track and field athletes had another great competition this past Sunday at the Spartan Meet. We had many top finishers in all events and many athletes achieved personal records.  Both our junior boys and junior girls scored the highest total team points to capture 1st Place! And our senior boys came out 3rd and senior girls 4th - great job Dragons!!
